Infant Massage Course
with Nurturing Touch

Did you know that parents who take a class with IAIM (International Association of Infant Massage) learn much more than just the mechanics of a massage routine?

Our program involves many different styles of touch, movement, interaction and communication.

Research has shown that incorporating baby massage into your bedtime routine will promote a calmer lead up to bedtime & better quality of sleep, as well reduce colic symptoms. I have also heard this in anecdotal evidence from my families when attending my infant massage course. There is also a wellbing benefit for the parents who attend the course in that it is a way to socially connect with other parents, share experiences in a non-judgemental space, help build routine into your week with your baby & get some hints & tips from the other parenting experts in the group.

"We’ve just finished the five week baby massage course with Karla and have absolutely loved every minute of it! ❤️ We started when Lily was 4 weeks old and we found that it was a fantastic way to bond, and for me to get to know what she likes in terms of touch, whilst learning about other aspects of having a baby in a group of like-minded people. The group we were in was full of other Mums and babies who were all super friendly, and who were all open about their own experiences - both good and bad. Karla made the class a safe space to talk about anything baby related, and was massively supportive throughout the whole of our time together."

"My baby and I are currently attending baby massage classes and loving it! At the second session we were taught colic strokes to help with tummy troubles. Since then I’ve been doing them daily as needed. Earlier this week we had a bunch of upsets thanks to early teething (which also caused her to not latch well and take in more air while feeding) she was clearly experiencing tummy pain and was straining with no relief. On the bad tummy days when I did the colic strokes 5-10 minutes later she was happily farting and getting the poop out! It’s so good to know that when my daughter is in discomfort because of her tummy, I can do something to help. They’re super easy to slot into our nappy change routine! I plan to have baby massage as a part of our daily routine and I’m so happy I signed up to attend."
